We are White Heather Films - an Edinburgh-based wedding film company, and lovers of everything Scotland has to offer. You are equally likely to find us munching pastries at Hobz as tucking into half-squashed sandwiches at the top of a Munro.

We also love weddings. Through our films we aim to capture and bottle up your day, so that you can be transported back to that day for years to come and allow those who couldn’t make it to feel as though they had. We capture the big moments, but what we really love is what happens in the gaps between these moments. A hug, a tear, a laugh – those small actions that often go unnoticed but mean the most.

  • "Olly went above and beyond for our wedding video and we couldn’t be happier with the results. He was a pleasure to have with us on the day and things were super relaxed and non intrusive which is exactly what we wanted - he captured so many special moments we hadn’t even realised happened and it was such a joy to watch the final video back. Each shot was so thoughtful and the highlight film was beautifully put together. Couldn’t recommend Olly enough, he was a joy to work with and a true master of his craft :)"

Our Service

  • Dawn 'til dusk

We’ll be there all the way from bridal prep until the first few dances and even longer if you want

  • Best bits

We’ll deliver a highlights film through which we hope to perfectly encapsulate the feel and emotions of your day

  • The I dos

We’ll capture your ceremony and speeches in full, with two camera angles and with full audio

  • Couple time

While for the most part, we let the day play out before us, we do normally spend between 15 mins and an hour on couple shots, depending on your preference

  • Wherever you are

We‘re based in Edinburgh but are very happy to travel to wherever your wedding may be, within the UK or beyond

  • Our style

Our film style could be described as cinematic, but mostly our films match the tone and atmosphere of your day, and aim to not be too heavy handed in the editing booth, letting the sounds and sights of the day tell your story
